Supporting Our Communities

We believe in giving back where it matters most.

Giving back to our communities

Our communities sustain us, which is why it’s our privilege to give back and help those closest to us. As an active member of our local communities, Wayne-Sanderson Farms gives back through supporting one another and initiating positive change, making the places we live, work, and play better for all. We partner with local charities and communities not only to give back but to give back with purpose.

Financial Support

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is committed to supporting the communities that have helped us achieve success over the years. Through partnerships with key community organizations such as United Way®, Relay for Life®, American Cancer Society®, and many other local charities, we help support our communities through company and employee donations.

$2.8 Million

In 2024, Wayne-Sanderson Farms donated $2.8 million to various community organizations.

Disaster Relief

In times of crisis, our commitment deepens, and we take great pride in providing meaningful assistance to communities affected by devastating hurricanes and tornadoes, helping them rebuild and recover. In the aftermath of Hurricanes Helene and Milton, team members across the company rallied to mobilize extensive support efforts including donations, volunteer hours, and critical food and supply drives for victims in Florida and North Carolina.

$100+ Thousand

In 2024, Wayne-Sanderson Farms and our employees donated over $110,000 to American Red Cross and Samaritan’s Purse to aid disaster relief efforts.

Since the company became title sponsor of the Sanderson Farms Championship in 2013, the state’s only PGA TOUR event has donated over $15.7 million to Friends of Children’s Hospital, a fundraising organization dedicated to supporting the University of Mississippi Medical Center’s pediatric health care mission and the state’s only children’s hospital, as well as other Mississippi charities.
