Michael Crump

Michael Crump serves as Wayne-Sanderson Farms’ Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Fresh Business Unit. In this role, he oversees all sales and operations for the company’s fresh poultry products, including live production and processing for our big bird and small bird facilities, ensuring excellence in product delivery and satisfaction. Additionally, he is responsible for strategic and capital planning for the business unit, driving the unit’s growth and aligning its objectives with the company’s overarching goals.

Prior to joining Wayne-Sanderson Farms in 2014 as Senior Director of Fresh Operations, he served as Senior Vice President of World Technology Ingredients, a premier global leader in food safety and multi-functional ingredients for the food processing industry—preceded by holding positions of increasing responsibility from 1996 to 2010 with Pilgrim’s Pride, including Plant Manager and Complex Manager at several of their operating facilities.

Michael earned a Bachelor of Animal Science from Stephen F. Austin State University. He currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Georgia Poultry Federation.
