Kevin McDaniel

Kevin McDaniel serves as Wayne-Sanderson Farms’ Chief Operating Officer (COO), overseeing the company’s fresh, retail and prepared foods business units, as well as leading the engineering and marketing functions. Kevin’s oversight includes the operation of newly expanded and modernized production facilities, ongoing implementation of enhanced animal welfare policies, and technological advances in an environment of continuously changing compliance and regulatory mandates.

He returned to the company in 2019, having previously served as Senior Director of Fresh Operations. With over 34 years of industry experience, he holds a wealth of leadership expertise. He previously served as President of Aviagen North America and held senior roles with OK Foods and Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation.

Kevin earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from Stephen F. Austin State University. He currently sits on the board of directors for the National Chicken Council and the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association, and previously held several key positions with the Poultry Federation, including Chairman. Kevin was named the 2011 Federation Industry Man of the Year.
