Clint Rivers

Clint Rivers is President, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chairman of the Board for Wayne-Sanderson Farms. Leading the 26,000 team members of the company, Clint serves as the highest-ranking executive in the organization and shapes the overall vision and strategy of the company, while driving the workforce and resources toward strategic goals, making major corporate decisions, and serving as the main point of communication with the Board of Directors.

Joining Wayne-Sanderson Farms in 2012 as Vice President and General Manager of the Fresh Business Unit, Clint Rivers was named Chief Operating Officer in 2014, President and CEO in 2017, and Chairman of the Board in 2020.

Clint’s 43 years of operational and management experience span senior leadership roles with some of the industry’s top poultry producers. Prior to joining the company, Clint served as President of Foodservice and Supply Chain at Perdue Farms and held successive leadership positions at Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation, including Chief Operating Officer, President and CEO.

He earned a degree in Animal Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. An industry leader in many respects, Clint currently serves on the National Chicken Council’s (NCC) Board of Directors and previously held the role of Chairman.
